Managers Report 2011-2012
As the summer comes to a close it’s time to start thinking about the 2011-2012 ski season. The crew at Labrador Mountain has under taken some major upgrades for the upcoming season. The ski shop and rental department have received a total face lift. The repair shop has acquired more work space for all of your tuning and repair needs. Bring your equipment in to have your bindings mounted; base repair, race preps, recreational preps, and waxing or stone grinding work done. The rental department received more open area with seating to help with traffic flow and the ease of getting your gear in a faster manor so you can enjoy more quality time on the slopes.
Another major undertaking of improvements at Labrador this year is an upgraded drive system for the Ptarmigan lift. This variable speed drive will help in our maintenance of the lift and also be beneficial for everyday skiing visitors.
Another improvement is the constant updating of snowmaking pipe and gun placement. We’ve replaced some old pipe and moved guns around. This will make the crews work much easier and help in faster opening times. Hope to see you all on the slopes this year.
Sincerely,
Erik J Wilson
