Managers Report 2010-2011

Hope you all have enjoyed this hot summer which is coming to a close, it’s time to start thinking about the 2010-11 ski season. The Labrador Mountain staff has been tackling some minor improvements for the upcoming ski season. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and hope to see new faces out on the slopes soon.
Many of our trails have been brushed and edges have been cleared to enhance better visibility. Snowmaking pipe has been added on No Name to help aid in quicker opening which should provide more days of usage on this well liked trail. We have moved and installed some of our snowmaking equipment in the terrain park. This move will enable us to build the massive features which have become so popular in the park. I’m sure some of you will be excited to hear we plan on the addition of new and improved features to our Terrain Park. This will help all skiers and snowboarders advance their riding skills.
On a last note the Labrador Mountain Ski Patrol will be celebrating 50 years of service to our mountain. If you come across a red coat with a cross on it take time to thank them for their outstanding service. I would like to say thank you to the LMSP for their years of service and dedication.
Sincerely,
Erik J Wilson
