Another ski and snowboard season is upon us already. Let’s hope we receive as much snow as we have had rain this summer. The crew has been hard at work to make your skiing and riding experience more pleasurable. The badger and triple chairlifts have been painted. Many trails received brush cutting along the edges for better visibility and trail maintenance for the groomers. Char Run has gotten a new route at the end of the trail to give it a more scenic look.
To maximize our already impressive snowmaking system we invested in thirty more snowmaking guns. The main lodge has received the final phase of siding and windows.
As I write this letter, a long awaited cell tower is being erected in the town of Truxton. We are being told it should be completed by October, and we should have much better cell reception all over the area. We are in the transition of moving the terrain park onto the Badger trail and turning Razorback into the beginner area. Patrons can enjoy the riders and see the features while traveling up the Badger lift allowing them a better idea of what is on the terrain park. Razorback will provide a better area for our beginner skiers and snowboarders.
All the staff here at Labrador would like to thank our existing patrons and new ones for their continuing show of loyalty and support. |
